Through our Environmental Education Programs (EEP), MAXIMUS team organizes sensitization programs for school children, women and youths on sustainable living, waste management, “Trash to Cash” opportunities and climate change. Our collection centers have created jobs for people in host communities where they work to sort and bale collected plastic waste. Through the “RivCycle” Project, we work with community members to execute “Ocean Clean-Up” schemes at coastal regions in Southern Nigeria. We also support inner-city children with school-support packages as part of our effort to help people living in undermined communities

So far, we have collected over 200 metric tons of plastic waste for recycling. We have created 11 direct jobs, 20 indirect jobs and have empowered over 100 waste pickers. From 2021 till date, our social impact projects have touched the lives of over 3000 people including women and youths in host communities.
